Saunum
Saunum Group AS (Saunum) is an Estonian sauna technology company founded in 2014, primarily focused on developing electric heaters, sauna indoor climate devices, and sauna automation systems. What makes the company and its products unique is that all Saunum devices are equipped with patented air circulation systems that evenly mix the sauna air, maintaining consistent temperatures from the floor to the ceiling. This mechanical solution guarantees a uniform and healthy sauna climate in the steam room. Both the sauna and the assembly plants of Saunum’s partners are located in Estonia, specifically in Tallinn and Harju County.
Saunum was born in cooperation between scientific thinking and technological innovation
The development work was supported by research done alongside Tallinn University of Technology, in which was analyzed the thermal stratification and air movement in the sauna room.
The aim of this work was to solve the problem how to achieve an even temperature, at both the head and foot levels
